E-ADHD provides a holistic, doctor-led approach to ADHD diagnosis and medication management for children, adolescents and adults across Australia. Our multidisciplinary team includes a Senior Clinical Psychologist (initial ADHD assessment and diagnosis), a Consultant Psychiatrist (adult medication assessment and initiation), Consultant Paediatricians (paediatric medication assessment and initiation), and GPs with Special Interest in ADHD (ongoing shared-care medication management). All consultations are delivered via secure telehealth, with the next available appointments typically within one week.

Our service is available to children, adolescents and adults anywhere in Australia. Common reasons clients book with E-ADHD include initial ADHD assessment and diagnosis, ADHD medication assessment and initiation, ongoing medication management, second opinions, and medication optimisation. The right clinician depends on your age, whether you already have an ADHD diagnosis, and whether you have already been stabilised on medication. See the clinician-selection questions below.

Our team is structured around the stages of the ADHD care pathway. The right clinician for you depends on where you are in that pathway.

• Senior Clinical Psychologist, Kelly. Conducts the initial consultation and full ADHD assessment. Book Kelly if you do not yet have an ADHD diagnosis.
• Consultant Psychiatrist, Dr Lawrence. Performs adult ADHD medication assessment and initiation. Book Dr Lawrence if you are an adult who has an ADHD diagnosis but has not been started on ADHD medication.
• Consultant Paediatrician, Dr James Fitzpatrick. Performs paediatric ADHD medication assessment and initiation. Book Dr Fitzpatrick if your child has an ADHD diagnosis and needs medication assessed or initiated.
• GPs with Special Interest in ADHD (GP-SI). Provide ongoing shared-care medication management for clients who are already diagnosed and already stabilised on ADHD medication. GP-SI appointments cannot be used to initiate medication.

You should book an initial consultation with our Senior Clinical Psychologist, Kelly. The initial consultation is 60 minutes and costs $330. If a full ADHD assessment is clinically indicated after the initial consultation, this is a separate 120-minute appointment that costs $2,500.

Our Clinical Psychologist completes the initial ADHD diagnosis. Our Psychiatrist (adults) or Paediatrician (children) then completes the ADHD medication assessment and initiation, where clinically appropriate, as part of the full treatment pathway.

The diagnostic process with our Senior Clinical Psychologist, Kelly, has two stages:

• Initial consultation. 60 minutes, $330. A clinical interview to discuss your presenting concerns and to determine whether a full ADHD assessment is appropriate.
• Full ADHD assessment. 120 minutes, $2,500. A comprehensive diagnostic assessment conducted after the initial consultation. This produces the formal diagnostic report required before any E-ADHD medication assessment can proceed.

Both stages are conducted via secure telehealth.

For children already diagnosed with ADHD who require a medication assessment, book a 45-minute First Appointment (Initial Medication Assessment) with our Consultant Paediatrician, Dr James Fitzpatrick. This appointment is for ages 6 to 25. The fee is $900, with an MBS rebate of up to $265.60 where eligibility criteria are met.

To proceed you will need:

• A copy of the ADHD diagnosis letter or report
• A current GP referral, valid for 12 months (required for MBS rebate eligibility)
• Baseline cardiovascular measurements from the referring GP

Adults with an existing ADHD diagnosis who need medication assessed and initiated should book a 45-minute First Appointment (Initial Medication Assessment and Follow Up) with our Consultant Psychiatrist, Dr Lawrence. The fee is $900, with an MBS rebate of up to $265.60 where eligible.

Medicare rebate eligibility depends on your previous use of Medicare rebates and whether you have an existing Mental Health Care Plan. We recommend speaking with your regular GP before booking to confirm your eligibility.

• Baseline cardiovascular measurements from your GP

Yes. Our GPs with Special Interest in ADHD provide ongoing shared-care medication management for clients who:

• Have already completed a formal ADHD assessment, and
• Have already been initiated and stabilised on ADHD medication by a psychiatrist or paediatrician.

If you are located in any state other than Queensland, you will need to upload:

• A copy of your ADHD diagnosis (from a medical doctor or clinical psychologist), and
• Evidence that a psychiatrist has initiated and stabilised your ADHD medication, so that a GP with a Special Interest can continue your medication management.

Important: GP-SI appointments cannot be used to initiate medication. If you have not yet been started on ADHD medication, you will need to book with our Psychiatrist (adults) or Paediatrician (children) instead.

Required documents depend on the appointment type:

• Initial consultation with Clinical Psychologist (Kelly): no documents required at the time of booking.
• Psychiatrist (Dr Lawrence), adult medication assessment: ADHD diagnostic report, GP referral valid for 12 months, and baseline cardiovascular measurements from your GP.
• Paediatrician (Dr Fitzpatrick), paediatric medication assessment: ADHD diagnosis letter, a psychologist report and completed ADHD assessment report, GP referral valid for 12 months, and baseline cardiovascular measurements from the referring GP.
• GP-SI, ongoing medication management (non-QLD clients): ADHD diagnosis (from a medical doctor or clinical psychologist) and evidence of psychiatrist-initiated and stabilised medication.

Baseline cardiovascular measurements are routine pre-medication checks recorded by your GP, typically including blood pressure, heart rate, height and weight. They are required before any ADHD medication assessment with our Psychiatrist or Paediatrician, as ADHD stimulant medications can affect cardiovascular function. Please ask your regular GP to record these measurements and include them with your referral.

A current GP referral valid for 12 months is required for all Psychiatrist (Dr Lawrence) and Paediatrician (Dr Fitzpatrick) appointments. Without a valid referral, you will not be eligible for Medicare or MBS rebates on those consultations.

GP referrals are not required for the initial consultation with our Clinical Psychologist (Kelly).

Paediatric referrals can be addressed to: E-ADHD, Dr James Fitzpatrick, 9 Bishop St, Jolimont, WA 6014.

Our doctors work in shared care with your regular GP. Your GP will be kept updated throughout the medication assessment and initiation process. Once a medication plan is established and you are stabilised, you can continue your ongoing medication management with your regular GP, or with one of our GPs with Special Interest in ADHD.

Appointments are either a First Appointment for your initial medication assessment, or a Review Appointment for ongoing check-ins as an existing E-ADHD client.

The latest fees and appointment availability are always shown at the time of booking on our website.

Medicare rebates may be accessible for E-ADHD telehealth consultations with our Psychiatrist and Paediatrician. Eligibility depends on factors such as:

• Whether you have a valid GP referral (12 months)
• Your previous use of Medicare rebates
• Attendance of the client at the telehealth appointment
• For psychiatric appointments, whether you have an existing Mental Health Care Plan

Where eligible, Medicare rebate claims are processed during your E-ADHD appointment. We recommend confirming your specific Medicare eligibility with your regular GP before booking.

All appointments are booked online through our secure booking portal, powered by Zanda Health. Booking takes only minutes and is fully client-driven.

The next available appointment is generally within one week. Live availability for each clinician is displayed at the time of booking.

All clients book their own appointment through the Zanda client portal, with payment taken at the time of booking. Our team does not create bookings or issue invoices on a client's behalf.

Booking through the portal ensures every appointment is matched to the correct clinician, appointment type and fee. If you have booked the wrong appointment type or need to move to a different provider, see "I think I booked the wrong appointment type" below.

Yes. You can reschedule your own appointment to another available time with the same clinician, directly through the Zanda client portal. Rescheduling is self-service, takes only minutes, and does not require you to contact our team.

Please note that rescheduling keeps you with the same clinician and appointment type. It cannot be used to move to a different provider or a different appointment type. If you need to change clinician or appointment type, see "I think I booked the wrong appointment type" below.

Because fees differ between provider types, we are not able to transfer a booking from one clinician to another. If you have booked the wrong appointment type, we will refund the fee you paid and ask you to book a new appointment with the correct provider at the applicable fee.

The most common error is booking a GP-SI appointment for a first-time medication assessment. GP-SI appointments cannot be used to initiate medication. First-time medication assessments must be booked with our Paediatrician (for children) or Psychiatrist (for adults).

Cancellations and refunds are not available due to the high demand for specialist ADHD appointments and the rostering and resource allocation requirements of our clinical team.

You can, however, reschedule your appointment yourself to another available time with the same clinician through the Zanda client portal, at no cost. See "Can I reschedule my appointment?" above.

The only exception to the no-refund policy is where you have booked the wrong appointment type and need to change provider. In that case the fee is refunded and you rebook with the correct clinician (see above).

Payment processing fees may also apply depending on your method of payment.

In exceptional circumstances, please contact our team directly at dr@e-adhd.com to discuss your situation. Please note that E-ADHD is not a physical practice and clinical questions cannot be addressed outside of a booked appointment.

E-ADHD is a telehealth-only ADHD service. We provide consultations exclusively online and do not offer in-person appointments.

Our administrative operations are based in Perth, Western Australia, with the practice address at 9 Bishop St, Jolimont, WA 6014. This address is used for GP referral correspondence only. It is not a clinic for client visits.

E-ADHD is not a physical practice with resources available to correspond with clients outside appointments. The only avenue for discussions regarding medication or clinical concerns is through a booked appointment, allowing our doctors to address these matters in a considered and appropriate manner.

Our Consultant Paediatricians are based in Western Australia and New South Wales. Our Consultant Psychiatrist, Senior Clinical Psychologist, and GPs with Special Interest in ADHD are based in Western Australia. All clinicians provide care exclusively via secure telehealth, so you can access ADHD support from anywhere in Australia.
